Information clause

In accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/697 of the European Parliament and of the Council
of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC, hereinafter referred to as the GDPR, I inform you that:
The controller of your personal data, i.e. the entity that jointly determines the purposes and means of processing personal data are:

The Controller will process your data for the purpose of concluding and performing a contract for the provision of legal services, fulfilling obligations under the law (e.g. tax, accounting, administrative) and for the purpose of possible establishment, investigation or defense against claims.
 
For the purposes mentioned above, your consent is not required, as the data are processed for the performance of the contract, as provided for in Article 6(1)(b.b GDPR or the performance of legal obligations under Article 6(1)(b.c GDPR, and for the purpose of possibly establishing, asserting or defending against claims, which constitutes a legitimate interest of the Administrator (legal basis Of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). Providing your personal data is voluntary, however, it is necessary for the conclusion of a contract for the provision of legal services, its performance and the performance of obligations imposed on the Administrator in connection with its performance.
 
For the purposes indicated above, the data may be disclosed to the following categories of recipients: banks and authorities.

The data may also be made available to entities acting on behalf of the Administrator, such as lawyers and trainees of these professions, tax advisors and other lawyers, as well as service entities for the purpose of carrying out activities related to the operation of the law firm (IT services, postal and courier services, accounting services, document management).

In connection with the processing of your personal data, you have the right to:

  1. access to your personal data, which are processed by the Controller, knowledge of the origin of such data, the purposes of data processing and information about the recipients of the data, including processors,
  2. rectification of their data,
  3. deletion of his data from the Administrator's records, if they are not needed for the purposes indicated above and the period during which the Administrator is entitled to store them has elapsed,
  4. request restriction of the processing of your data,
  5. obtain a copy of your data in a commonly used format and the right to request the transfer of data to another controller (right of portability),
  6. if the processing is carried out on the basis of consent, to withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal.

If you consider that the conduct of the Administrator or entities acting on his behalf violates the provisions on the protection of personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (address - ul. Rates 2, 00-193 Warsaw).

The Controller will store your personal data in accordance with § 5 paragraph 2
Regulations for the exercise of the profession of lawyer in the Administrator's Office, i.e. data related to the conduct of the case for a period of one year from the execution of the order.

However, documents that may give rise to the liability of the lawyer will be kept until the end of the limitation period for possible claims against the Administrator.
